Position Summary

MassPrinting is seeking a dynamic individual to join our start-up team. This individual will be the senior Operations leader for MassPrinting and will have responsibility for driving all operations strategies for the company. He or she will play a critical role in every aspect of the business including: strategic operational direction; pre-sales operational support; supervises business analysis and project management functions. This individual will also be heavily involved in the sales and business development process including: signing off customer proposals and RFP’s; validating solution capabilities operationally; recommending solutions; managing client projects and implementations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • P&L responsibility for key business unit generating a majority of the revenue and profit.
  • Manage and direct all day to day operations with MassPrinting’s existing clients and vendors.
  • As a member of senior staff, participate in development of the business and technology strategy and ensure new innovations can be operationally supported.
  • Develop and manage the Operations strategy for supporting all MassPrinting’s solutions and products.
  • Develop and manage the ecosystem of existing operational partners to insure ensure the processes and organization is in place to support achieving MassPrinting’s customer goals and objectives.
  • Hire, manage and develop all operations staff.
  • Support sales and business development efforts by signing off on customer proposals/RFP’s; validating solution capabilities operationally; recommending solutions and managing client projects and implementations.
  • Plan and direct the analysis of client business issues, current state business-operating procedures, business rules, and supporting system requirements and translate that to a future state scenario.
  • Working with senior staff, help create and manage the estimates, project plans, project schedules, resource allocation and expenses to ensure achievement of client project goals and alignment to MassPrinting proposal.
  • Maintain positive and ongoing relationships with clients.
  • Design, implement and manage an effective existing account management process with select clients.
  • During client engagements, identify issues and risks in a timely manner and develop/implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans,

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8+ years related experience.
  • Experience managing a direct staff in an operational environment.
  • Experience managing during times of major change, including staff concerns, client expectations, and maintaining operations stability.
  • Experience managing in a services organization that includes vendor/partner management; developing SOWs: business requirements and managing projects/customer implementations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid, broad understanding of transactional print and electronic document fulfillment and associated workflows in the insurance, health services, financial services or general transactional print/mail industry.
  • Experience working within a client facing consultant or professional services role.
  • Experience with or knowledge of the process of working with vendors that supply products and solutions in a consultative services or a reseller business model.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Can effectively work in a dynamic, fast moving environment and frequently working under a deadline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint required.

Position Summary

MassPrinting is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual to be the Senior Account Manager for our P&C Insurance transaction/broker relationship account. This person is responsible for all aspects of managing the client relationship and establishing MassPrinting as a strategic partner within these major accounts. The key objectives, success criteria, and goals include: establishing strong executive level and operational relationships within and across the client’s complex organization; implementing account management processes and procedures that drive success for the client, MassPrinting, and 3rd party service delivery companies; leveraging internal MassPrinting resources to ensure the MassPrinting organization is engaged across functional areas with these clients; delivery of all services via agreed SLA's; effective day to day service support, meeting project deliverables, managing service provider engagement, and driving initiatives to their success. This person will also lead the effort to introduce and sell new/additional MassPrinting (and our partner’s) products and services into these clients.

Primary Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Develop expertise and understanding of the client’s strategic direction as it relates to MassPrinting’s overall business and value proposition. Understand the operational needs and service requirements, (both short and long term) and advocate client interests within MassPrinting and service partners.
  • •Establish and develop strong and productive working relationships with key executive and senior client stakeholders and various client team leaders across the organization. Drive MassPrinting to be a trusted business partner for all products and services.
  • Engage MassPrinting personnel, including finance, operations, support services, project management, technology, and other management resources in response to client needs.
  • Facilitate the process of finding solutions and process improvements to service client needs, challenges, and future state scenarios.
  • Analyze current and future state business-operating procedures, business rules, and supporting system requirements and drive the team leads in the execution of all SOWs, business requirements, test plans, and acceptance documents.
  • • Implement and manage a regular, structured, monthly/quarterly business review process with stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive presentation of the current state of the client relationship, improvement opportunities, key metrics, and upcoming business opportunities.

Vendor/Partner Management

  • Develop executive, operational, and any other relationships needed with MassPrinting’s service delivery partners to ensure client success. This may also include leveraging MassPrinting internal resources and their existing relationships to effectively drive client success.
  • Develop expertise in all the services and capabilities of service providers contracted to deliver services to our client.
  • Identify issues impeding service consistencies and work with both internal MassPrinting and within our partner organizations to correct and implement permanent solutions.
  • Work closely with provider project teams to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Implement timely (weekly, monthly, quarterly) vendor reviews using a “vendor score card.” Coordinate other stakeholders: Technology, Finance, and Project Management for input.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within the Property and Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Ability to nurture and maintain senior level business relationships.
  • Ability to indirectly manage and lead people at all organizational levels in a very complex working environment.
  • Ability to understand and manage very strong personalities within multiple organizations where there are often competing goals and objectives.
  • Ability to drive through roadblocks and remain focused on delivering value to clients.
  • Excellent relationship development and management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications including being able to create reports and presentations.
  • Excellent time management and organization with the ability to manage key deliverables on a number of simultaneous projects.

Work Environment

This position requires management of key relationships based in Boston, Omaha, Ft. Worth, Tallahassee, Madison, WI, and other cities. As such, this position requires 40% of time spent traveling and on location at client and provider offices to be most effective.
